Developing new techniques and processes for health care is complicated. There are a lot of rules and regulations and people's lives are at stake, of course. Both health care professionals and their clients need to benefit from what is being developed.
Health Hub Roden is tasked with bringing together many different specialisms to strengthen innovation in health and welcare.
The history behind the Health Hub makes it an extra interesting story. It organised itself after a large international pharmaceutical company left Roden, a town in Drenthe, the Netherlands. However, the people – the specialists – stayed. Their knowledge and experience, too. Together they set up the Health Hub Roden and are still very much part of it. Working together with companies, organisations, governments and education partners.
